Got a new LazyBoy for Christmas --- turned the old one into an abdominal crunch exercise machine: call it my LazyBoy AB Lounger, and been doing belly-bends for a week now. Lost a couple of pounds already 'n tightened my ABs & dorsal laterals & calves working the rusty frameworks.

I'm gonna do the low/no-carb "change of lifestyle" (rather than diet, lol). As far as how much I want to lose...15 lbs. I mostly want to get rid of the rest of this "baby belly."

I need to lose a good amount of weight, but my goal for now is 20 pounds in 3 months. Is that reasonable? Going to just cut back, eat better, more fruits, etc....lots of water...so, with that said...
Good bye Dr. Pepper, chocolate cake, ice cream, and fast food......You will be missed! LOL
Mmmmm Water.

Regular Oatmeal with Splenda and Smart Balance Oleo, two pieces of buttered (same oleo) toast (Natures Own 7 Grain Honey Wheat) with some delicious Polaner Sugar Free Apricot Preserves spread on it and some coffee with real sugar. Whoop Whoop, back to the old grind... I'll have a donut in a month or so.. got something to look forward to.. www.naafa.org/

I guess I need to lose a little around the middle. I never had a 6 pack but I've worked myself up to a bull keg. I guess I could say the present shape I'm in now is round.

Well .. breakfast .. 2 eggs, 2 peices of white bread and coffee. Lunch .. 2 peices of KFC origional fried chicken with 2 peices of white bread. Dinner .. about 6 ounces of New York Strip steak in the cast iron skillet, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, a few carrots and water. On the plus side, raked 9 yard size trash bags of leaves and rode the bike around the neighborhood trying to catch the stupid dog. So all in all kind of an average day.

Well, I guess I did OK yesterday. I got headaches in between my meals. Don't know if it's from hunger or the caffeine withdrawl from the lack of Dr Peppers. No headaches today... so far. Did not snack between meals and had no sweets.

lean pocket for breakfast, and turkey sandwich for lunch (tiny bit of mayo)....nothing but water, water, water! No, wait...I had two cups of coffee with less sugar than I usually put, but still sugar. Sorry, can't cut the coffee or I'll kill someone! hehe

DD's Diet Tip for Today: Try WalMart's Equate instead of the more expensive Brand Name Diet Drinks. It's $3.97 the six pack of 11 oz cans. You can zap for hot chocolate or use for a Smoothie or nuke and stir in some instant coffee for a neat mocha java drink. I use it to make malts with the Carnation Malt Powder and the low fat ice cream.

What ever works for YOU. I'm sure extra exercise will work. I'm trying to use a combination of diet & exercise. Guess I'll find out Friday if there is any progress.
