If we Republicans don't get our party back in control of the Senate today - we have no one to blame but our own stupid selves. Too many voters are staying home and saying that the Dems will cheat to stay in power and Obama will support any measure to meet that means. I would like nothing better than to see Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi suffer the pain of defeat.

"Pain of defeat" is the correct term. I wonder if Reid, Pelosi, and company are going to suffer in silence? I think not.
My biggest surprise was that the Senate Jokester, Al Franken, was re-elected. What a buffoon.
All in all, it was a good night.

Obama had a news conference and announced that he wanted to work with the Republicans and solve the nation's problems. Funny but he wasn't willing to do that a couple of weeks ago. Suddenly he is the mediator and wants to hear what the Republicans want. Still he says that he will grant amnesty to illegals with or without the congress. What kind of man is this who won't abide by our constitution? Worst president ever!! Why should the republicans work with the dems/liberals when all Reid and Pelosi and the half-breed make fun of Republicans?
Next come the proposed leadership of the House and Senate. Boehner and McConnel are too weak to stand up to Obama. They have folded to him in the recent past and will do so again. The House and Senate need new leadership from the republicans - men who will fight for us and not approve Obama's policies.
