I did my civic duty today and voted and I opted to vote in the republican primiary. First on the list of ballots was for governor and heading the list was..... "SECEDE McNutt", I realy dont remember his surname but SECEDE (all capitals)was his given name and "McNutt", that was my own invention for this post.
Lower down the ballot was.... George Bush, not George W, but this time George P.
Even lower in the assorted list of "Judges" was one... "Barbara Walthers". I guess you gotta do something after you leave show-biz.
When a person votes today you must have a sense of humor

UPDATE..............
SECEDE "Kilgore" as I expected came in LAST with only 1% of the vote.
Another Joke....... Kinky Friedman is in a run-off for AG Commissioner, 38% to 37%, with Jim Hogan. Both are Democrats (second part of the joke).
Much to my surprise, I find that George P. Bush is former president George H W Bush's grand-son. He won.
"Sam Houston" is back in Texas politics, He's the democratic candidate for Attorney General.
"Barbara Walthers" didn't make it, She will have go out and find her an honest job now.
And the biggest joke of all, Sheila Jackson Lee won un-opposed (no-one wants to go "face to face" with her)UGH!
