I feel badly that some 1400 men women and children were killed by some nerve agent but I don't see how that attack endangers American security or is a threat to any American citizen. Sure the people responsible need to be punished but why do we have to do the job when Syria, Iran, Russia and China ask us not to attack. Syria and Iran promise to bomb Israel in retaliation to any American attack. Why do the Israel people have to suffer so Obama can ask like a big dog? Or is he really want to hurt the Jews?
The English, Germans and others want no part of Obama's plan. His plea to the American people yesterday sounded like a "wossie". It just doesn't make any sense for a bombing attack to support our national security.

Why did Assad gas the people? We don't yet know for certain WHO did it- another reason not to go off half-cocked.

My take? The Serin gas was used by the Muslim Brotherhood to draw attention and the interest of their friend in the states - Obama. Without proof he was already condemning the Syrian government or Assad for the despicable act of murdering his own people. The people who died were not part of the opposition or members of the Muslim Brotherhood. So why would Assad try to kill them?
Obama is so anxious to blame anyone other than his friends (Muslim Brotherhood) that he will risk American lives in bombing. Does anyone think that the Syrian forces will just sit and watch their country being bombed? They will shoot back and then they will attack Israel as they have promised. More innocent lives will be on Obama's head and for what? American National Security? How they tie these things together is spooky.

I don't see why we need to get in their business. Let them kill each other off. We don't have a dog in the fight that I can see. I sure as hell don't want to see us fighting alongside the same arse clowns that are killing our people in other countries.

Recently on the news a Syrian man was interviewed by CBS and he said that he was so disappointed in the Americans for not sending in troops to save his people. Why would we want to sacrifice American lives for these people who recently burned our flag and cursed our leaders? Is he talking about the Syrian branch of the Taliban or the Syrian branch of Alqueda (sp)? Syria has never had a democracy and whoever wins this civil war will not give them a democracy either. Either being ruled by a dictator or by the Muslim Brotherhood. Sounds like they have no choice. By the way - isn't Assad a christian? But then again so was Hitler.

the Assad regime had NOTHING to gain by using Gas. Remember the "Rebels" had overrun and captured a gas weapons storage depot and they are elements of al Qaeda.. they have a record of killing their own to blame their opponents.
