I only got one pond in today as I had other things to do. There was a lot of wood that had to be taken out and replaced that I didn't plan on. We have on more small pond that will connect these two but I will give it a break for a while.

We put in the small middle pond yesterday and today the filter and pump came in. The cost of this one has not been bad because I'm using stuff I had already. Only the bottom large pond is new and it cost $130. I could have used my old pump which I got at either Wal Mart, Sutherlands or TSC ----not sure where. I wanted a larger filter and pump and found both on Ebay for $140. Ponds can cost as much as you are willing to spend as there are all sorts of goodies you can get for them----spitting turtles, frogs, hippos, plants, lights, all sorts of things. A small prefab pond and a pump that contain a filter attached to a small fountain could be had for $100 to $150. Check the web sites of Loews or Home Depot or go by Sutherlands as they keep a good supply of pond items in stock.

That is really looking good. My boss put in a pond this past spring at work but half arsed the whole deal. It doesn't look near as cool as yours. Great job, ion.
