Now the WHO DATS won the super bowl & March Madness is coming soon, dont know bout you but I'm ready for some baseball.
Will the Astros be competitive this year under a new coach & several new players or will they be also rands again this season?

There has been a big turnover in players. Oswalt has a better outlook. And when the rest of players come in this next week to join the pitchers and catchers and new staff, I think the Stros will be a better team. Whether they can compete for a division or penant is still a big question.

Roy Oswalt pitched his first spring training game, going 2 scoreless innings. He said his fastball was there along with slider and another pitch he was working on but he loaded up the bases to start the first before getting a fluke 1-8-1 double play and a strikeout to end the inning. Last year Roy O had a problem keeping runners off the bases. Lets's hope this preseason game isn't a preview of another less than stellar preformance for the Astro ace pitcher.
