I'm asking for suggestions. My computer has been running fine; then, my printer went out. I bought a new one installed it; made a mistake during installation, uninstalled it and it works fine. But, ever since that printer installation, everything is running slow; sometimes I can't even close things that have been opened. Any ideas? Thanks.

Only thing I know to do is press "Ctrl, Alt, and Delete" all at the same time to get the Task Manager pulled up. Click on "Processes" and then click on the tab that says "CPU" You'll see what is pulling most of your computer usage. Let us know what you get....but do not end any processes if you don't know what you're doing!

Hint: If you click on the column Heading, it will sort that column Ascending or Descending.. if you want to have some fun, Click on Image Name, put in Ascending order and Google each of the Image Names... You'll learn a lot... maybe find somethings you don't want or need. Clicking on Mem Usage will give you a good idea of what the memory hogs are...

The printer is the problem. HP printers are known for the included bloatware.
