we treated ourselves to a night in the LCRA park ($25/00)...last night...took the ATV and rode the beach - then i found out that was illegal it was my dogs first ever trip to the beach - he loved it. the beach was in pretty good shape - not much seaweed but i'll never understand why people want to leave their trash!!! take it home with you.

I did not like the lcra park its just cement no trees, do not care for the beach. The rest facilitys leave a lot to be desired. My son had a blast with a crab trap and a bbq chicken wing, got some keepers really fast. Fayetteville is sweet... thick woods and the roads are great for scooters and bikes lots of hills very little peddling or pushing.

"c'mon didn't you lay out yippee? ya gotta at the beach".........dang I knew I went at the wrong time.....lol Its a nice clean park I just prefer woods over cement....If you like the beach (it was pure seaweed when we went just over a year ago this time) Its a clean park..maybe my problem was It Rained the whole time the one time we did not need rain) and humbug was no wheres around..go figure....and it was our first trip with the trailor?

We went last summer, and I liked the cement pads. Easier setting up the trailer. I didn't like that it had no trees but we made due with the awning. The beach was nice when we went, no seaweed. The park was very clean and neat. The worst thing about it was the mosquito's were out in full force, when the sun started to go down you had better be indoors. The boys had lots of fun fishing too. We will go back sometime.

I'd like to take the kids fishing somewhere with a nice safe pier. I have a toddler, so I get worried for his safety. Any suggestions on nice places to fish? I know this is crazy sounding lol

because stupid parents let their kids swim by the jetties... when there is clearly a sign that says no swimming...... pi$$es me off to see little kids swimming in that area... maybe they cant read the sign i dont know...
(not to change the subject, heard on the scanner late last night/this early morning that a one vehicle roll over on 102 glen flora area, said one person was ejected and then hit by on coming car.. life flight was called then it all went silent.. havent heard a word after that.)

What is the name of the restaurant right after the Intercoastal Bridge on the right-hand side of the road. I remember it had good food and good atmosphere. I haven't been there in awhile and was just wondering if it was still there.
