Yawn, just another conspiracy theory, based on 2nd & 3rd century mis-truths and a poor knowledge of history and biblical evidence...

The ‘documentary’ raises the question of the ascension of Christ. Spiritual? Physical?
Christ’s physical ascension is a fundamental cornerstone of Christian religion. Now executive producer James Cameron and director Simcha Jacobovici want to attempt to rewrite the Bible with science. Yet they’re saying their not trying to do that.
If I’m not mistaken I believe they used the question - ‘was Jesus blonde and blue eyed?’ to create the argument. It’s an obvious reference to the English translation of the KJV.
It’s the ole ‘Lost in Translation’ argument. (I’m not talking about the Bill Murry movie either.) The translation could give them a wedge to question this fundamental question.
Since all the parties involved are not available to ask – “hey, is this your tomb?” – I guess it’s a matter of faith.
If you’re a ‘pick and choose Christian’ the ‘documentary’ could give one the opportunity to approach the question like a Chinese menu – one from column A and one from column B. Hey it’s all Chinese food right?
What say you Rev?

My faith is stronger than a cinematic hack whose career sank faster than the Titanic after the movie of the same name. Looks to me as if he's just trying to make it on the front page again.

didn't they say that they found what they thought were the remains of Jesus's brother James a few years back? whatever became of that? Fraud, and if I remember correctly the forger is in prison. I wouldnt call Cameron a hack, why he picked this subject matter, I dont know. From what I've read about it, the evidence looks compelling, but compelling evidence isnt proof. But check out the rough idea for a movie: Use the DNA from this tomb and match it to the people who claim to be direct descendants of Jesus. BOOM! We have an undeniable match. Across the world, much turmoil and confusion set in. Somehow JC's DNA is stolen and the clone appears. The SECOND COMING. He explains that just as the Jews misinterpreted the signs of his 1st appearance, the Christians are doing the same now. He collects his trust fund by uniting all the churches. Smites all enemies and becomes King of the world. Of course he is really the anti-christ and soon begins to fulfill prophecy from revelation. I havent figured this part out yet, but.......... Keanu Reeves knows the game going on and eventually saves the world. I mean c'mon, who has saved the world more times than Keanu. Alternate ending: Is cloned, becomes King of the world, and everyone lives happily ever after. FIN

he did a documentary about the Titanic and went back down and inside the ship, totally cool! even after all the years of being on the bottom it's still a sight to behold, i've watched it several times it's called "Ghost of the Abyss"

"lives happily ever after."
Since there's no empirical evidence that "happily ever after" is possible...

I just don't buy into the story that of all the people who have expired and been buried over the last 20 or so centuries - they pick out Jesus' family crypt. Just too far fetched. But something else - would it "sell to hollywood" if they had found the crypt of Jessie the butcher's family or Bennie the baker? I don't think so!

Since there's no empirical evidence that "happily ever after" is possible... Indeed you are correct. But.......as soon as I pay my final installment, my poetic license should be arriving within 3 to 4 weeks.
