They reminded me of the Cowboys... back in the Good Ol' Days.

Well, they've still got a lot of growing up to do. You don't take your foot off the gas until the race is over is what I always heard.

The Texans can't beat good teams. They are in serious need of a quarterback. Kubiak has an obsession with his theory that he can take a mediocre quarterback and make a great quarterback out of him. Why waste your teams talent on a losing battle like that? Get a great quarterback from the start. It is a crying shame that Andre' Johnson has wasted a brilliant career on a team like the Texans.

No, I really am a Texan's fan. I just know that Matt Shaub is not the QB to get us to a super bowl. He has some kind of inner panic in big games.

He is not one of the better qbs in the league. He does not come close to camparing with Audrew Luck, RGIII, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Michael Vick, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, Drew Brees, etc, etc, etc. Any one of those guys, and 4 or 5 others, would have the Texans in the Super Bowl without question. Shaub is simply not the man for the job. He is at best a fair back-up. He is also too prone to injury.

What do you think about Schaub now? I would be surprised if he is brought back next year.

Hope y'all got to see a real pro football team play last night. My favorite coach, my favorite team is whichever one he is coaching at the time, Pete Carrol has last year's door mat team, the Seattle Seahawks, looking very good. It's amazing what can happen when you have a quarterback that can throw the ball for more than 35 yards accurately and a coach that will call plays to do so. Seattle 42, San Francisco not near that much.

The Texans will go over the cliff next Saturday when the Bengals kick their behinds like they stole something.
