i'm looking for a corn recipe that i ate in a resturant. it was soooo good. ....it was kinda creamy - so i'm thinking it had sour cream in it - it also had a tic of jalapeno in it.... and i couldn't make anything else out.
any ideas about where i might find the recipe?

I talked to a guy the other day who gave me a corn recipe with 3 ingredients, I didn't write them down, so I forgot them.. I think one was sour cream and the other was a dry package of salad dressing, like Ranch ... you might Google and see what's out there. He recommended frozen fresh corn.

I have one.
4 cans corn 2-8oz. cream cheese 3 cans green chilies mix together on stove top and heat.
It's really good.
You can also put red pepper in it too.

ok guys - i found the recipe.!!!! this is to die for.
4 big cans whole kernel sweet corn (20oz I think) 1 8oz. cream cheese blocks 1 stick of butter 1 small white onion diced 2-3 jalapenos diced and seeded(I leave one with the seeds for extra kick)
- Drain and heat the corn in a pot, I usually use my dutch oven. - Add cream cheese to corn - Saute onions and jalapenos with the butter. - Add the butter, onions and jalapenos to corn. - Mix together. - Salt and fresh black pepper to taste.
You can always add more cream cheese and butter after the fact if you think it looks like too much and you want to cut back in the beginning, but trust me, it usually isn't enough. The recipe is really hard to screw up, you could probably make it without me giving you the amounts of the ingredients. Heck you might even make it better by just cooking it to taste. I usually buy an extra block of cream cheese, can or two of corn and butter just in case.
I will say this, it's always better the second day. Just reheat on the stove and add a little whole milk to cream it back up.
