I've just finished reading two of his books, "Chariots of the Gods" and "History is Wrong". This fellow's books make more sense about where we all came from than anything else I've read. And, yes, that includes the Bible.

close to Vardis Fisher's "Testament of Man" series... Vardis Fisher was required reading for the Nerds I ran with in High School.. same group that introduced me to "1984" and "Brave New World".... we were all already big time fans of Bradbury, Asimov, and Alfred E. Newman.. then there was Erskine Caldwell...but that wasn't for enlightenment..
