well i guess you could do it like stale bread...put it in the oven and use for bread crumbs or just throw it away =) lol
Anywho....this is what I found on yahoo answers.... try clearing your cache and refreshing the page..
"Due to slow internet connections, web browsers have the ability to download a page and keep a local copy on your hard-drive. If you revisit a site (page) that has been cached (copied to your local pc) you see the page as it was when it was cached (copied) instead of how the page appears now (with the newest updates).
So a 'stale page cache' means you have not 'reloaded' or 'refreshed' the page so your looking at an out-of-date copy of the page loaded from your hard-drive instead of the current copy of the page on the web. This issue is big on e-commerce sites where prices and availablility change often.
Example: you look at a page that has three florbals for sell: a plain florbal for $100, a student florbal for $150 and a 'professional' florbal for $500. after looking at the page, it is cached on your pc. The florbal seller updates the page and removes the student florbal due to unavailabillity from the vendor for over three months. Later the same day you go back to the same page, and you still see the student florbal listed becuase your looking at a local copy of the page. You buy the student florbal, and the seller has to tell you that its unavailable. You send a nasty email to the seller asking him why he's listing stuff he can't sell you. He sends a reply, "You must have a stale page cache."
