The deer were the official greeters. We set up Monday afternoon and as we got things unloaded and leveled a herd of deer came over to watch. Since we did not feed them they roamed away after a while. We were the only campers down by the lake till late Wednesday when one camper came in. The next day 2 more came in during the day. Each time the herd of deer would go over to the new arrivals and stand around watching them set up camp. If you didn't feed them they would wonder off but if you did you had camping friends till you ran out of food. LOL
