I can not believe we have not been to the Hill Country this summer. It has just been too hot for me. I hope we get to go once school is back in session and all the kids are not crowding up the pools and stuff .. then maybe we can get a reservation .. and go cool off.

We will be going thru New Braunfels next Monday on the way to the hill country. We are going to Medina Lake for the week and will be just this side of Bandera. Don't really have any plans other than recharging the batteries. Taking half the house with us and most likely will not unload half of it.

today, 30 August 2009, in International Falls Minnesota, it was 33 F... Somebody go wake up that Phoney Al Gore and kick him in the butt..
(my friends up North tell me they're chopping lot's of wood... some doubling, some tripling normal wood storage)

Pretty darn humid outside right now. Hope we get some of this rain they keep talking about.
