Does anyone here actually have or use either one of these things? The rate at which the wife checks out books and stacks them up I'm actually going nuts with all the stacks laying about. She'll get books upon books upon books and read a little of one then another and while I love her for it the piles have driven me nuts. I figure if we get one of these guys it'll cut down on the piles.
Any opinions?

I haven't seen the Sony eBook Reader, but I have seen the Kindle 2. It looks great, very interesting technology indeed! I'm sure you can find reviews if you do a google search, but I'd not look at amazon reviews, as they may be biased. Very cool product though! Let us know if you get one and how it works!

We decided a few weeks back to get the Sony eReader PRS-505. There was a Borders Rewards coupon that knocked off $50 on the reader and dropped the price to an acceptable range for me. The wife loves the thing so much I have yet to actually 'use' it enough to get an accurate idea as to how good it really is. if her usage of the thing is any indication it is really good. I did manage to download a software package that allows me to download and format rss feeds to the reader for later use. That, from what I've seen works really well. I tried it on several papers and it worked like a charm. I tried the Leader News but it cratered because I do not subscribe. I'll have a review of this thing hopefully soon if I can pry it from the wife's hands long enough to do so.
