I'm having so much problems with IE9 that I'm looking for another browser. It locks up and drops connections daily--- I also use firefox but I'm not real happy with it. Started using Safari and it seems to be a good one.
Any others out there?

The new Internet Explorer is supposed to be internet standards compliant. I've heard nothing but complaints because the internet is anything but standard. I do use it only to check a few sites I maintain. Mozilla Firefox has it's issues but on the whole I use it more than any other. It works well for me. I do have Safari and use it on the occasion of checking the above mentioned sites. I've contemplated getting Google Chrome but I hold off because of the problems I hear that it has which make it basically useless. Opera is an option and the only thing I use it on is our Nintendo Wii and Palm Pilot TX. It's tolerable.

Google Chrome is the one I could not remember. I downloaded it today and using it now. So far I like it! Set up is easy as it imports book marks and cookies from IE if you give it the OK. It is opening sites and not dropping the connection. My home page is nothing but news sites and for the last couple of weeks the conservative sites didn't want to open while the liberal site loaded just fine. That was the first thing I tested and things are looking good.

I only use Firefox, at least 99% of the time. Sometimes I need to use IE, but very rarely. I have the option add on for an IE tab in Firefox, which makes it easier to open pages that work for IE. I also love love love the adblock feature. I think it is my favorite. No more screaming ads yelling at me, blinking, flashing, etc. No more pop ups!

I really like the Chrome----been playing with it and it is working great for me. I had trouble with Firefox and Safari importing all my book marks and I have a bunch. It's only been a few hrs so problems might show up but none yet.

I stayed with Chrome------it does what I need without crashing all the time. It doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of the others but it works. One of the things that took me a while to get use to was the search engine. You pick a search engine in set up and when you need to use it you type the question in the spot that http:// and web address is at.
