just tried this out.. it worked.. Peeled, cored, and sliced up a medium sized apple. Took a Small Corningware skillet sprayed it with Butter Flavored Non Stick Spray.. Placed Raw Flour Tortilla (from HEB Refigerated Dairy Section) on bottom added sliced apple.. sprinkled Splenda Brown Sugar Blend liberally, sprinkled Ground Cinnamon, tossed in a bunch of small pats of Smart Balance Oleo, baked at 350 degrees for 20 minutes..
Woo Laa! it came out like a cobbler.. next one I will get brave an make a lattice type top with another raw tortilla sliced in strips and see how it comes out...(was enough for two, but I'm a greedy pig)

those are easy, take a uncooked tortilla, fill with beans (not too much) add cheese, your fav lunch meat cut up.. fold and crimp edges with a fork like a turnover and fry till golden brown...

the best quick cobbler is...
in a 13x9" dish, add one stick of melted butter to the bottom of the dish,. in another bowl, add one cut of self rising flour, one cup of suger, one cup of milk, one egg and mix..
put 2 cans of your favorite pie filling, peaches, cherries or apples.. pour on top of butter in pan spread them out evenly.. then pour batter into the fruit.. cook(350) for about 45 minutes or until done.. lightly browned crust
sprinkle some cinnamon and suger on top of the crust..

when using fresh fruits, my grannie would mix apple and pears, or peaches and apricots, or two types of berries... along with the normal sugar, a little sprinkle or two habenero powders gives it some exotic flavorage...I'm wondering what a mango and papaya combo would taste like
