Lately I've been getting the message "Virtual Memory Minimum Too Low". My computer has 248 MB RAM and the virtual memory page file size is set on 372 MB. Do I need to get more memory? Is this something I could install myself or would I need to take it in to have done?
I do empty my browser cache...temp. files, cookies and history... often, too.

Ohh snap! You only have 248 total mb of ram? Yes I would say a ram upgrade is in order. The only problem I can see is finding memory old enough to put in your computer if you only have that much. I haven't seen a computer with that low of memory in quite some time. Perhaps someone can find some laying around and help you out?

Well, after looking at my computer specs I actually have 256 mb. I have no problem obtaining the memory. I can put in up to 1gb. I just don't know whether I should do this myself or have someone install it for me!

If you are not uncomfortable opening up the computer case and swapping out a few chips then I'd say go for it. If not you can always get someone to do it for you. If you can get the correct memory still I'd say do it for sure. You may be able to find someone here that would do it for you. It's a simple 5 minute affair if you have the correct stuff on hand.
