My forum friends....just a little update...remember hubby went in to the hospital December 8th with pneumonia and they found lung cancer. It seems there are too many things wrong to make him better. They have put him on a morphine drip and taken him out of ICU to a room. The doctor said we would only have him a few more days. I feel the prayers in my heart from everyone because I have an inner peace knowing soon he will not have all this pain and suffering. Please remember us and keep praying. It seems I always turn to you all in good times and in bad....thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We lost him peacefully in his sleep early this morning. Thank you all for the prayers...I felt them and I know he did also.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you, treetop. One of the hardest things in life to deal with is the loss of a loved one. My thoughts and prayers are with you...may they comfort you in at least some small way.

We had a small memorial service for him here at our home yesterday. His request was to donate his body to science so we did as he asked then they will spread his ashes in the ocean. He was a very kind giving man in life and still is. Thank you all for everything. Today was my first day back at school for a month and I missed each and every one of my students....even the ones that used to stress me....seems those were the ones that missed me the most.

I am so sorry {{{hugs}}} You are in my prayers for peace and comfort during this sad time.
May your husband be blessed in his new life beyond the veil by such a generous donation of himself to those who may find a cure through him.
