I have spent the better part of the morning looking at the old recipe book site. It is wonderful! We have been looking for old recipes/cookbooks lately and they are really hard to find. Thanks for sharing that site.

I've used the Zatarain's Hush Puppy Mix (onion flavored) for a Armadillo Egg batter, back when I used to deep fat fry in my fry daddy.. I'm betting you could use it maybe with a variation of the amount of liquid to make a Corn Dog Batter... I'd like to get something that oven bakes but has the "fried" taste.. I've already had the Roto Rooters clear out one set of arteries, not looking forward to it happening again... link: www.zatarains.com/recipelanding.cfm
