Christian or Islam Hell?
It'd be interesting to compare the two religions' beliefs about Hell. It seems like most Christians say the flames in Hell are metaphorical for a separation from God and Heaven with only the fundies preaching actual fire. The Bible doesn't really seem to support that. The Islamic Hell is also said to be allegorical because it is "beyond our human comprehension" but the Quran uses graphic descriptions about the torture of Hell? Like skins being roasted and then replaced with new skins, being dragged thru boiling water, Allah even mocking you!
Which Hell is worse? Psychological pain in Christian Hell or Physical pain in Islamic Hell?

I can't see the Creator of the Universe going to all this trouble to create the most complicated Universe of Matter, Anti-Matter, Dark Matter, and Dark Energy, with a giant swirling super black hole in the middle of each of billions of Galaxies, hiding out and staying invisible and sending you to suffer unimaginable misery because you wouldn't listen to the weirdos on your porch or the guy on TV with the $200 haircut and the $1000 suit who wants you to send him money so you too can be saved from the fires of Hell... no way Jose..
Bye bye to the Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, Leprechauns, Gnomes, Ogres, Unicorns, and all those things that never show up in real life..

Perhaps we'll always be trying to find out what is Hell.
They sometimes say, "It's cold as hell" Sometimes they say, "It's hot as hell" When it rains hard "It's hell they cry" It's also hell when it's too dry. They hate like hell to see it snow. It's a hell of a wind when it starts to blow. Now how in the hell can anyone tell. What in the hell they mean by "hell"
This married life is "Hell" they say. When he comes home late there's hell to pay It's hell when the doctor sends his bills For a hell of a lot of trips and pills "Hell yes, and "Hell no, and "Oh hell too" The hell you don't and the hell you do. And what in the hell, and the hell it is The hell with yours, and the hell with his. Now who in the hell, and oh hell where. What in the hell do you think I care. But the hell of it is, it's sure as hell We don't know what in the Hell is Hell

I stand by the unpopular belief that we're in "hell". If we prove quickly that we do not deserve hell we die young. R.I.P. Donna you didn't belong here.

I'm not sure that your belief is so 'unpopular'....
my mission is to be in heaven WITH God - not separted from Him as we are now.
The Biblical description of HELL is so bad that it motivates me to try to get to Heaven. I just have no desire to spend eternity with the Devil. I see enough of the Devil's influence now.
