What voltage does Europe & Britain use? Is that A.C. or D.C.?
The wife wants a trip to the Old World to visit relatives around Thanksgiving and I got no idea what gadgets we need to have for their electrics.

Google it by country. It varies on voltage, frequency (many 50 Hz, not 60), and the plug used.

The voltage is AC the amount and plug style varies per country. You'll be needing to look into things like this... tinyurl.com/ebk3nfor eletronics use. Most stuff these days here is made duel voltage. A cordless razor I even picked up a few months ago automatically converts when plugged in.

When my son went to Italy with the TAMU choir I found an adapter kit (might have been Wally World, I don't remember) that would work for most any 'over seas' travel.
