As I was walking around the yard and snapping pictures I took this picture of a single minature rose I played around with it in Adobe Elements and came up with: and then: and: I almost deleted the picture, now I kinda like it.

# 3 (above) has an impressionistic appeal.. sort of like this Claude (below) well, sorta.. almost nearly...

More Claude Monet.. flowers as he see's them.. during the Impressionistic Period.. as a Child I remember seeing a lot of art from this period in my Grandma's and Great Aunt's homes.. it was art from their youth. My other Grandmother displayed only Jesus Pictures..

Funny you should notice that...one of the tools I used in Adobe was the Impressionest Brush. I used it around the rose and then added a light canvas texture to the picture. DD you have a good eye.
