LOL, we have three units in one house. The first is a window/wall style heat/ac unit. It's about 24" of snow there. You'll notice the larger drifts in front of the other a/c unit. We measured it at 4' and change. The accumulation showing outside our dining room window there on the roof is at present, 34" total. I actually put a metal drafting scale in it earlier this morning and it showed 11" since then we've moved up to a yard stick and the drafting scale is lost in the pile somewhere.

That is a lot of snow. I'm staying down here in Texas. I just don't think I could deal with that much of that stuff, no matter how pretty it is.

I think it is absolutely beautiful! You are very blessed. I miss winter Our first December here it snowed, and it was wonderful...but I've been told that was pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime deal here. The funny thing is, I lived in the upstate of SC for nearly 40 years (was born there) and never once did we have a Christmas snow that I can remember. We move out here to hot-as-Hades land, and we get a Christmas snow. Too cool

That snow was a once in a lifetime event for us! I had always dreamed of having a white Christmas. I was thinking of making a trip to Vermont, New Hampshire or Colorado over the Christmas holidays just so I could have a white Christmas once before I kick the bucket...now I don't have to!

Hey, maybe we'll live long enough to have two once-in-a-lifetimes happen ...we can hope, right? <g>

That was a crazy snowstorm indeed. I actually hope we get some more like that this year just so our student we have staying with us gets a chance to experience it. The part of Hungary he is from doesn't get as much as we normally do. He's in for quite a change this year. lol

Yep, that's real purty. But, having spent 18 months in Newfoundland and 6 months in Manchester (prettiest place on earth) New Hampshire, I know what shovelling snow is like and you can have it. I'll be happy just looking at your pictures.
