Tried to log on last night (as linewinder) and kept getting error that user name or password was incorrect. I use Firefox, but also tried IE7.
After trying several things in both, I was than banned for 1 hour. I could not find a link to contact you without creating a new account.
could you see about fixing my old login, as I've used it for many years?
Thanks in advance.

The system setup will ban anyone trying to activate a profile for an hour for security reasons. It prevents phishing for passwords and account theft.
1) Did you send a password request? It will email the password to your email address you used during registration if it is still a valid email address.
2) Passwords are case sensitive.
3) In Firefox you can try and clear the password if you have it set to remember them. First click on Tools, then Options. Then click on Security. This will bring up another window, in the Passwords section click on Show Passwords. This will bring up another pop-up window named Remember Passwords. In there it will show you a list of sites you have saved passwords for. Scroll down the list until you find the website address for the forum and see if your Member Name is listed next to it. Then right click that line once. The next step is VERY IMPORTANT as it can delete ALL your save password information instead of the one line. Push the Remove button ONCE.
In doing the above you should clear your password out of memory for Firefox. I'm uncertain to the steps in Explorer as I do not use it. If none of these things helps let me know and I'll try changing the password for you.

I understand the security thing, just mentioned the banning as a way to show how hard I was trying. I had already done all you suggested, even asking for the password e-mail.
I've been typing that password for years and when I got the e-mail it looked just like what I was typing.
However for some odd reason I was omitting 1 character; and for the life of me, I can't understand why I was missing it.
It finally hit me as I sat down to try again.
Thanks for the help.

Glad to do what I can to help. I can understand where you're coming from. It's happened to me more than once with other sites as well. Glad to see you made it back on.

What Time Is It?
Is it me or is the clock on the SITE replies running an hour late?
I just posted a reply on thread about UNLEASHED's banner year, the post time said 1:59 but my CPU clock said it was 2:59

From our provider's website. Sorry but that didn't make a lick of sense to me! One more time but in laymen's terms. Not being on Microsoft browser, have no ida what a "your profile" is or where its found. On thing's for sure, the clock on my browser sez its 8:20 AM but the time piece in upper right corner of WC Unleashed page sez its 7:20 AM -- somethings still outa kilter...

No problem at all.
You'll need to go into your profile for the forum in order to set your forum clock to the proper time. To do so first look at the top of the page. You'll see a series of buttons ie Home Help Search Members Calendar Profile Logout Register. You'll need to click on Profile. That will open a page that shows your profile information and recent statistics. You should see at the top of that information Members Bio Modify Profile and Bookmarks. There you will click on Modify Profile. That will open a new page that shows your profile information. On that page they recently added a new option under the Dates and Times named Currently Observing DST. Click the option, "Yes" and then go to the bottom of the page and click the button Modify Profile. Be certain to NOT accidentally push the Delete Profile button on the right as it will remove your profile.
If this doesn't help let me know and I'll try my best to fix the situation as soon as I can.

my email address that i updated last month, went back to the old email address, and forced me to get a new Activation Code, and as slow as my server is (with junk mail filters removed) it took sometime to get back here.
