I've been a member here for quite a while --as I TRIED to post a response to the discussion on the proposed vaccine--AFTER I had already read and replied to a PM, I was told I couldn't post and was not a member. After going through the rigors of reregistering for NO good reason, I see I am classed as a lurker. Is there a reason I am no longer a member? Are you narrowing the type of responses you want on here?

Nope. It looks like you are having some type of technicle issue with your account. Could you be more specific as to what happened and what browser you are using? I know with Firefox I occasionally have login issues. Your responses have nothing to do with your dificulty.
As for the reclassification of Lurker it is the default classification when you register, or in your case, re-register. I'll look into your profile and see what I can find out. Untill then keep using your present profile. If I can't determine the issue I will modify your new profile to reflect what your old one already has.

Where can I modify my profile. I click at the top "profile" and I get a message that says "unable to modify profile." I checked the ProBoard online help and it appears it can be changed from the link at the top of the page. What's up?

Giver er a go again, leashed and let me know how it goes. I checked your profile and found nothing out of the ordinary. To edit your profile you need to click the white Profile button up top, then Modify Profile on the next page. If it happens again I'll check with the providers to see if there is a bug or something. I've been able to modify both mine and Texaslady's profile today without any issue.
