Looks like the local football teams are went down to defeat. Some teams really stunk up the stadiums. Results were:
Industrial ... 27 ___ East Bernard ... 21 Rice Consolidated ... 25 ___ Boling ... 14 (stinky) La Margue ... 24 ___ El Campo ... 7 (P-Uhey) Giddings ... 62 ___ Wharton ... 14 (Oh that smells bad)

At least these teams played one more game than alot of teams across the state! I was at the Boling game, and if not for turnovers and some questionable refereeing, the outcome may have been different, so to me it was far from stinky.

...if not... How much the loser wins by defines how smelly the game in. The spread in points (margin of defeat) is what made the game stinky ... and by my parameters a loss greater than a TD + FG (field goal) is what constitutes a smelly game ... not the way the loser played nor mite of beens in officiating which is why in playoffs games are played in neutral stadiums. Stinky's not as bad as the P-Uhey Ricebirds or the skunky Tigers, but a loss is a loss is a loss, anyway you look at it.
