Don't seem right to have to play ball with your hands in your pockets.

I've tried to watch Soccer in Europe, then in Asia, then in America, then in Mexico... tried to get interested... just couldn't... was boring.. Cricket and shuffleboard was more interesting to watch... Bowling... Darts... Dwarf Tossing..

I guess watching my kids play soccer is different than watching the professionals play. I get a KICK out of it.

Not a big fan of European Football (Soccer), did watch a Gold Cup game while visiting my younger son in Austin over wknd ... trailing Mexico 2-1 at the half, and only 1st time in 53 meetings dating back to 1934 that Americans came back from behind to win the prestigous title over heavily favored Mexico (at Soldier's Field) ... the fans attending the game show'd more sportsmanship than did the Mexican when last year, they heckled and boo'd the USA team.
Hooray for the USA soccer team!
