Well, I have a regular site I go to in regard to Boxing...but it would be interesting to know if anybody in this county is into it.
I'm going to see Evander Holyfield next weekend in Corpus Christi....I caught him last Novenber in San Antonio....
Any fight fans out there.....and for sure BOXING....not MMA....I hate that crap.

i saw on the news today that Sylvester Stallone was busted for buying the Human Growth Hormone. No wonder he always look's so in shape! I wonder what Rocky would think about that?

We got to cut the guy some slack....he's 60 years old. I can't blame him for getting a little help in that department. He looked d*mn strong in the last Rocky.....60 years olds just cannot get that huge to that degree without roids....then again...niether can 20-30 year olds.

Born in '46, he'll be 61 in July ... for his size, a short 5'-7" without the elevator shoes he wears; he's definitely compact but would he look as muscular if he had that brawn packed on an average 6' tall frame?

Wladimir Klitschko rules the division, I watched him saturday night pound ray austin with nothing but a jab and left hooks and he knocked him out in the second round. never threw his right one time, he's got power in both hands

Will I watched Holyfield beat a guy senseless this past Sat. night LIVE in Corpus Christi! Combos I have not seen from him in years! Based on his name alone....he will get a shot at a title soon.
As for Wlad.....I'm not a huge fan, though he is growing on me. He is setting up his LONG OVERDUE rematch to Lamon Brewster the last guy that TKO him in 5 rounds about 3 years ago. He needs to avenge that UGLY loss before I consider him number one in the divsion.

Something wasnt right for Klitschko that night, he beat Brewster senseless and had won all the rounds and then suddenly and mysteriously he collapsed at the end of the fifth and couldnt continue.......Something was wrong with him.
Brewster will get the living hell beat out of him in the rematch again and Klitschko will finish the fight and the speculation regarding him in the heavyweight division. Next time your going to the fights let me know, I'd like to go to.

I'm going to go see Big Lou Savarese this week. Lou is old and not all that great....BUT he's a nice guy at heart and much more interesting that most of the young HWs out there now.

Big Lou has never been anything great....but he's a really nice guy and he did have a few decent scraps in his career....his fight with Foreman was excellent.

Calzahge/Manfredo sat night. Zag by KO! That was a JOKE of a title defense.....the only win of Calzage that's impressed me was his shutout of Lacey. Did you happen to catch the HW double header on Showtime.....WOW..... ...talk about 2 VERY entertaining scraps....I don't think I've seen 2 good HW fights back to back like that in awhile. If you have showtime....they have been showing all week on replays....check it out if you get the chance.

Diego Corrales is a joke, he had titles handed to him. IF he plans on continuing to fight he needs to drop back down if not hes going to beaten to a pulp. he's terrible, Clottey is in the elite of the division and diego found out the hard way.

He needs to hang them up.....he can longer make 140....it's simply impossible for him nowadays. And...by the looks of it...he does not seem to carry his power over to 147. PLUS....his numerous ring wars....it's time. The first Castillo fight was his last great outing....and I think that fight just took too much out of him....that 1 fight was probally equal to 10-15 fights for other guys. The Showtime fights I'm talking about were Heavyweights....Butler/Bowkoski and Garcia/Walker......if you did not catch them....check them out in the next day or so before they are gone.

Showtime will be showcasing some young undefeated HW talent again this weekend. On Friday night....Shobox will have Chris Arreola (17-0 13kos). Their last HW double header 2 weeks ago was AWSOME! Hopefully this will be just as good!

I like the olympic style boxing... headgear, tank tops, etc... More sport and not fighting... Pro boxing has faded because of corruption and greed as far as I am concerned...
