What used to be sun tan lotion is now sun block….lmao…. wrong formula… it’s killed many of men….. You would have done better to offer to bait the hooks. But then again us real women can do that ourselves too…. Guess your just arse out……. Sorry… have a beer and enjoy the A/C... no drive time too..... ;D

all this doesn't sound like the kind of flounder run trips i've been on -- which actually proved more successful when done w/out swimsuits, sunblock, suntan lotions simply b/c those trips were done at night or in the crepuscular moments (twilight time at dawn or dusk) when flounders moved from deeper waters into the shallow flats, to hide in wait (beneath sand) and catch unsuspecting meals that happened to swim or crawl past ... i'll be thinking about ya'll (somewhat) tonite while my son, son-in-law, and self are out on the south shoreline of Matagorda Bay having our go at the only kind of floundering we know how to do...

I feel all fishing trips (flounder runs included) should be for fun!!! It does not matter if you do not catch something just so you had a good time...

...got back a few hours ago & while son+son-in-law catch a few winks, 'n coffee's brewing b4 the wife rises for her day, got a fish report: Over night beginning late yesterdy into this a.m, we had a pretty good trip, lots of fun (for our type of floundering) with some success (to put it mildly) if you consider 54 flounders (from16" up) including 4 saddle-blanket flatfish (20", 23", 24", and 25.25") gigged and on ice. Then add in about 6 dozen large blueclaw crabs (while waitin' for the sun to go down). Plus the nearly 20 lbs of brown shrimp we landed in our sportsman's trawl, soon as we got into bay, I'd say we done pretty good for ourselves ... and we didn't have to buy any bait, since nobody brought any fishing poles, lotions, or alcoholic beverages on this trip. All we were out was outboard fuel, gas to drive both ways, and a little sleep... well worth it indeed
