we are all dieting around here and the holidays are going to be especially hard. we have studied it and our thanksgiving meal will be all low cal - or fat free. here's our menu:
turkey breast with low fat gravy crock pot green beans seasoned with goya ham packet or bacon bits. sweet potatoes made with splenda sugars and butter extract pumpkin maple praline bread pudding - made with SF pudding, FF milk, egg beaters, SF maple syrup, 40 cal wheat bread, etc
you get the idea.
our goal is to not gain anything.
what are you going to do?

Well as you know I too am on a diet. Well maybe not a diet as I have just changed the way I eat. It will be for life now that I know what to eat or not eat. I am not making the meal this year, so I am just not going to eat alot and go for a long walk afterwards.
Yippee, I did something simular last year, like you are doing this year. And it wasn't bad.

Congrats to those that find the will..
(crapola, last weigh in I had gained back 8 lbs of the 26-30 I lost 3 yrs ago) I've got a leak in my diet somewheres.. sure it's not the beer.. .has to be the whole wheat bread..

My one big tradition is my Aunt Barbara's Apple Cake. I am sure it is just chock full of calories. Other than that we do traditional turkey, dressing and then we try to mix it up after that. This year I am making fresh green beans with fresh mushrooms, rutabega's, butternut squash.

Sorry I'm late responding. I went out of town. I made 2 fresh pumpkin pies, pecan, buttermilk, and a chocolate buttermilk. They were YUMMY!! I did the candied sweet potatoes after I got there.
