Ok ppl....lets check in with some words of inspiration....how yall doing out there? Hanging in there? Remember, it's not a day to day thing, but a goal. If you fail, pick yourself right back up, a few days of failing won't stop you from your three month goal! As long as you're trying to eat healthier than you had been previously, that's a winner in my book! AMEN! Keep it up, people! ;D

For Lunch I had two chili cheese dogs with onions and spicy brown mustard. Had the HEB brand Cheetos on the side. That may sound pretty bad at first, but I got the hot dogs with 1/2 the sat fat, the hot dog chili had no choloesterol, no sat fat, so overall it was a tastey treat theat wasn't all that bad. will have cereal for supper..

i'm still on this
here's the irony of it - all the time while i was eating like a hog, i never got sick, even when everyone around me was hacking and coughing and vomiting. now that i am eating right - BOOM - i have a horrible cold. i guess all those oranges didn't have any vit. c in them.

Ok, I've come to the conclusion that the whole "making a conscious decision" to just do this thing may not work for me now. I think I seriously have to wean myself off of sweets! I must slowly transition from the bad sugar to the good sugar in fruits and stuff. As far as meals go, I'm doing fairly well with the whole wheat stuff. I can dooooooo eeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We can do this!

...i got more than enuff adipose tissue to keep me warm, so skippin a meal here 'n there hasn't been a big problem, tho like a brisket outa the supermarket, it's difficult folding me under sometimes ... my problem isn't sugar, it's being a salt-aholic (caused by hypo-blood pressure) which at my age is making me retain too much fluids in my tissues ... then at nite, I'm the energizer bunny, keep going and going and going like a Russian race horse (nope, no prostate problem here) ... i gota get off the salt and cut my 2+ gallon of daily water consumption to combat the parchness of the sodium chloride...
Is there a salt-substitute out there that anybody knows about?

ok i broke my self imposed rule of not weighing for a month. i couldn't stand not knowing.
after 12 days of starving - the scale went down 1.5 lbs. - that's just flat horrible.
i can gain a pound by eating a piece of cake - why can't i loose i pound by not eating that piece of cake???

guilty what else do you eat at 2:19 in the morning! normally people that are up at 2:19 in the morning are either getting in from Greek's, eating an early breakfast at Whataburger after going out to a dance or i guess, maybe eating a piece of cheesecake or pie. ;D
