I have lived in Texas all of my life, without wearing sweaters as a primary garment. Some people do, I just dont think it is cold enough. Sure I wear one instead of a jacket sometimes, but not with a jacket. Who wears sweaters, I mean like real sweater's for keeping you warm on the slopes; in Texas? Just curious to see if I am the only hot natured person here.

Love to look at them in the stores, but most of them are just too heavy for our climate. Even on a fairly cold day (which is rare), the office is too stuffy to allow anything but very light-weight clothing. If I do wear a sweater, it's usually a 3/4 length sleeve that I can push up when the "wimps" in the office turn the thermostatup to "bake". Same thing with suits with jackets. They look great, but the jacket won't stay on long!

I just dont get it .. during the hot summer the thermostat is set as low as we can afford to set it. In the winter its 70 degree's outside and they have the thermostat set at 85 in stores and offices. Why dont they just enjoy the FREE air conditioning. I refuse to shop at stores that I cant try clothes on in, because the heater is on when it is at or below 70 degrees outside. That is just crazy.

I've got a kickin Christmas sweater that I paid a fortune (fortune = $50 to me then . . . and now) for probably 10 years ago. I wear it every Christmas come cold or hot. I have a couple of fluffy, neutral colored, pullover sweaters that I've had for probably 15 years that cover all other sweater needs.
Now...I've got a full length black wool coat that I love that I'll wear when the need for a sweater is marginal. Love that coat.

I'd rather wear a light jacket if needed, so I can pull it off when the power surges kick in..
