Anybody out there Remember Munich 1972? Anybody remember Howard Cosell and his plea for empathy for the Palestinian Cause because they'd been driven to slaughter the kidnapped Israeli Olympic Team because their cause had been ignored by the Western World. Then the Yom Kipper War of 73 when Israel was kicking serious Arab arse and the Israeli's where on the road to Cairo until the Soviet Union threatened to intervene on the Arab side with 50,000 paratroopers and a cease fire was called to stop the war? Remember the Oil Embargo by the Arabic Oil Producers and the impact it had on the Western World? My memory is gas was in the 40 something cent a gallon range and zoomed up to 70 something cents? Seems like after than the Arab/Muslim/Terrorist cause was redefined by the Western World.. The terrorists would blow up bus loads of Israeli Women and Children, but all you'd see on the News was the dead women and babies that the Israeli "Agressors" had caused when the terrorist were killed hiding behind them?
Seems like this tactic has worked, much of the Western World has bought their propaganda as presented...
The Soviet Union was the ultimate sponsor of terrorism and is doing it now as the state of Russia.
by the way, there's a demonstration planned today in front of the Houston Israeli Consulate condemning Israeli agression. The civilized world has lost it's freeking mind.

Wouldn't count on Hollywood tto give you an accurate account of history. Might get the version taught by the left wing kooks.

The civilized world has lost it's freeking mind. Thats about d*mn right. We need to support Israeli aggression in this case. (I'm not using the term aggression the same way Arab apologists use it) I dont buy the BS Israel is targeting civilians. Killing civilians and targeting civilians isnt the same thing. Its common knowledge Islamic terror groups set up shop in the middle of civilian neighborhoods. Hizbollah has intentionally targeted Israeli civilians, and use their own civilians as cover. So who really bears the responsibilty for civilians? Bombing roads and infrastructure isnt about targeting civilians, its about cutting supply lines, isolation, and not letting Syria and Iran send in more arms. Israel looks like they are playing to win and take out Hizbollah. (and Hamas?) And I dont have much tolerance for a country that lets a terror org. have its way (even if its only the south portion of the country) Diplomacy and the UN is a joke. Internationally, who cares about Israel except the U.S.? Oh, one more thing- I HATE THE MIDDLE EAST!!!!!!!

My dad worked in the middle east for years. He said the kindest, most timely thing we could do was blast the whole area into a glass skating rink. He hated the area, the people, the governments. He had pet names for the people there that can't be repeated here. When he moved back to the states in the early 80's he told us not to travel outside the continental US as it was no longer safe and would most likely never be safe again.
I think, if he were still here, he'd support Israel during this time of conflict just as I do.

Munich the movie is a liberals perception of the Jewish-Palestinian problem seen thru rose colored glasses, and which portrays Israel as receiving what it deserves for the way the Jewish state has treated the Palestinians since becoming a nation of its own (60 years ago). While based on true events in history, its pure fictional in its alignment to actual occurences, tending to glorify the freedom fighters of Palestine while riddiculing Israel's right of self determination.
Like what the Third Reich did in run up to its Final Solution, Munich the movie is pure propaganda, aimed at rewriting history to shine a better light on those nations (Iran, Syria, etc) wanting to restart where Adolf Hitler's regime left off -- the total annihilation (extermination) of a religious race.
